The Creator
Meet Swati
Born in Patna, Bihar, Swati is a contemporary artist whose practice bridges India’s traditional art forms with modern design sensibilities.
A graduate in Design from the Apeejay Institute of Design, Swati has devoted herself since 2000 to the intricate and meditative world of Mandala Art. Her journey later expanded to include the storytelling aesthetics of Madhubani, creating a unique fusion that celebrates India's visual heritage.
For Swati, art is more than just pigment on canvas—it is a form of meditation and a path to spiritual connection. Her work is known for its fine-liner precision, fluid watercolours, and rich textures that adapt seamlessly across paper, wood, textiles, and murals.
"Art is a means to create harmony, balance, and spiritual connection while keeping alive the timeless rhythm of Indian cultural identity."
